A Lighter Shade of Brown (LSOB) is an American hip hop duo from Riverside, California. The duo consisted of Robert Gutierrez and Robert (Bobby) Ramirez. They are best known for their 1990 hit single "On a Sunday Afternoon" which had great success in both the U.S., and New Zealand.
Lighter Shade of Brown is the fourth studio album by A Lighter Shade of Brown. It was released on November 18, 1997 through Greenside/Thump Records. Production was handled by Ali Malek, Jammin' James Carter and Lev Berlak, with Andy Herrara and Antonio Mendoza as executive producers.
