Celia Lovsky (born Cäcilia Josefina Lvovsky, February 21, 1897 – October 12, 1979) was an Austrian-American actress. She is best known to fans of Star Trek as the Vulcan matriarch T'Pau, and to fans of The Twilight Zone as the aged daughter of an eternally youthful Hollywood actress.
Along with Felix Locher, Judith Anderson, Morgan Farley, Richard Hale, Anthony Jochim, Leonard Mudie, Charles Seel, Bill Borzage, Abraham Sofaer and Ian Wolfe, she is one of only eleven "Star Trek" actors to have been born in the 19th Century.

Celia Lovsky (21 February 1897 – 12 October 1979; age 82) was the Austrian actress who played T'Pau in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "Amok Time". Lovsky filmed her scenes between Wednesday 14 June 1967 and Monday 19 June 1967 at Desilu Stage 10.

Celia Lovsky, who played the character of T’Pau in “Amok Time”, was born on February 21, 1897, one of only 11 credited Trek guest stars born in the 19th century. In “Amok Time”, T’Pau has a level of status and respect that was very rare for women characters in TOS.
