Francis "Frank" Sobotka is a fictional character in season two of the HBO drama The Wire, played by the actor Chris Bauer . Plot. Frank is a respected Polish-American treasurer for the International Brotherhood of Stevedores at the Baltimore docks.
Bauer played Lloyd Gettys in the 1997 movie The Devil's Advocate, and appeared as the masked character "Machine" in the film 8mm which starred Nicholas Cage. He also starred in the second season of HBO's original series The Wire as Frank Sobotka.
