My Fellow Americans is a 1996 American political comedy film directed by Peter Segal. It stars Jack Lemmon and James Garner as feuding ex-presidents, with Dan Aykroyd, Lauren Bacall, Esther Rolle, John Heard, Wilford Brimley, Bradley Whitford, Everett McGill, and Jeff Yagher in supporting roles.

An attack helicopter fires a missile at an Immigrations copter as a warning to leave the area. Kramer, Douglass, and a poor family are all sleeping in the family's camper. The sleeping son kicks the covers off and in doing so accidentally kicks Douglass in his crotch.
Dec 20, 1996 · Chase scenes involve the usual assortment of on-the-road types, including a colorful female truck driver, an Elvis imitator, illegal immigrants, and the “Dykes on Bikes” motorcycle club. These scenes are familiar from many another film. What's entertaining, however, is the way the movie skewers the human weaknesses of the two old Presidents.
Some way into the flight, it turns out the helicopter is heading in the wrong direction, toward what will later be revealed as North Carolina. When Douglas realizes the error, he and Kramer force the pilots to land the helicopter.
