Her projects use photo, video, installation and she works collaboratively with other artists and communities. Since 2006, Sarah has been working with incarcerated artists in IL prisons.

The Land Acknowledgment subcommittee of SAIC’s Anti-racism Committee (ARC) is dedicated to the establishment of Indigenous land and territorial acknowledgment practices and related initiatives at SAIC. The committee is currently composed of Alex O’Keefe, Josh Rios, Katrina Valera, and Sarah Ross, with others soon to join.
