  1. Great unique place to camp. Gave it 4 stars due to the grass that clearly has not been mowed in 2023. Clean porta pottys, nice fire ring and plenty of room for our group of 22 the set up camp as well as have a game of kickball. Everyone loved seeing the planes take off from our campsite.

    Camp staff must be 18+, pass a background check and first aid/CPR training, plus complete an orientation training. All of our council-run camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and meet or exceed ACA’s standards for safe, high-quality program.

    Depending on the camp, girls may sleep in platform tents or cabins with restrooms nearby, or in lodges with indoor plumbing.

    Mail and email are welcome at overnight camp! If emergencies arise, caregivers can reach staff by phone; campers do not have access to phones.

    Our camp staff has extensive experience with homesickness and they’ll be there for your camper 24/7. If you have a concern, voice it to our camp directors before camp, so the staff can provide the best experience for your camper.

    Most meals are served family-style in a dining hall. A typical menu: Eggs, bacon, fruit & yogurt for breakfast; chicken sandwiches, salad bar & fruit for lunch; pizza, vegetables & dessert for dinner.

    Families provide transportation for day camp; Girl Scouts has limited transportation for two overnight camps.

  5. Empower girls to lead activities, learn by doing and cooperate with others for a short-term Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Curriculum support and training provided. Series occur anytime throughout the year and meeting schedule is flexible.
