Overview. Autodesk Softimage is a 3D animation application comprising a suite of computer graphics tools. Modeling tools allow the generation of polygonal or NURBS models. Subdivision modeling requires no additional operators and works directly on the polygonal geometry.
This document provides quick starts for the following workflows: Installing, registering, and activating Softimage using an Autodesk stand-alone license. A single serial number activates Softimage on a single Windows workstation. See Quick Steps: Installing Softimage and Activating a Stand-Alone License on page 5.
