Jun 27, 2023 · On a day trip to Tivoli from Rome you’ll at least be able to visit the city’s two most popular sites: Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este. The trip each way is about 45 minutes via your own air-conditioned bus and you’ll have a knowledgeable local guide explaining what’s what.
Aug 13, 2020 · Not only is it very close, but there are also quite a few options when it comes to traveling to Tivoli from Rome. You can take the bus, drive, or do what my mom and I did, and take the train. The train was so easy and was a really nice ride.
Jan 30, 2023 · How to get to Villa d’Este and Tivoli Gardens from Rome By public transport. Trains to Tivoli depart regularly from Rome Termini or Rome Tiburtina station. The ride takes around one hour and from there it’s a 15 minutes walk to Villa d’Este.
May 14, 2024 · The villa and the attached Tivoli Gardens are in the centre of town and easy to reach by direct train from Rome. However, be warned that Hadrian’s Villa is about five kilometres away – if you want to see it too, it might make sense to use the Metro between there and Rome.
