Mar 26, 2024 · Earn miles when flying with Alaska Airlines. Mileage Plan is an airline loyalty program, so naturally, you can earn when you fly with Alaska Airlines. Unlike other major U.S. airlines, Alaska continues to award miles based on the actual length of a flight. You'll earn 1 mile per 1 physical mile flown in standard economy.
If your Alaska flight was 500 miles, you'll earn 500 base miles, and 500 miles for the 100% MVP Gold bonus. Be sure to include your Alaska Mileage Plan number in your reservation when flying with American Airlines or another one world member airline to be eligible for benefits associated with your tier.
May 2, 2024 · Eligible flights on Alaska Airlines or other qualifying partner airlines earn 1 base Mileage Plan mile per actual mile flown. For example, flying 1,000 miles would earn 1,000 base miles.
