Andreas Christensen, Copenhagen, 1929. An important instrument by this highly-regarded maker known for his unique case designs. The case has been designed by the renowned Danish architect Bent Helweg-Møller, exhibiting intriguing Art Deco and Modernist design elements.
This is a very unusual baby grand and we have never seen another one like it. It was built in Copenhagen in 1951 by the small maufacturer Andreas Christensen, the same maker who commissioned the remarkable PH piano (offered elsewhere on our site) in the early 1930s.

This stunning mid-century design was created in Copenhagen in the 1960s. Andreas Christensen started producing pianos in 1912, he embraced modern Danish design and worked with the best contemporary architects, such as Torben Christensen, Alfred Skjøt-Pedersen and architect and designer Poul Hennin.
