  4. Apr 4, 2023 · Andrew uses glass and ceramic artworks to explore queer identity, from both a personal narrative and through historical and political reference points. Andrews glass pieces include an exact scale replica of the home of British gay rights campaigner and founder of the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, Allan Horsfall.

  5. Andrew Livingstones Intangible is a series of works in progress, sketches in porcelain slip, which put together, form a composite image of materiality. Livingstone states that “this work reflects the absence of both place and making. This also is significant in terms of my conceptual approaches to making and interpretation of ceramics.”

  6. Andrew graduated with a BA (Hons) in ceramics from Camberwell School of Art, London in 1989. He went on to study at the University of Ulster in Belfast, where he gained an MA in Applied Arts and a PhD titled The Authenticity of Clay and its Re-definition Within Contemporary Practice: Ceramic Familiarity and the Contribution to Expansion.
