Aquamarine reveals her ability to change her tail into legs during the day, but explains she will revert into a mermaid if she touches water, as well when the sun sets. She also confesses that she has her eyes set on Raymond, a lifeguard Hailey and Claire had a crush on for years.
JMB FX Studio produced the mermaid tails for actress Sara Paxton. The tails were sculpted over Sara's body cast. Foam and silicone skins were produced for 4 tails, each tail was covered in over 5000 scales.
Much to their amazement, their prayer is answered—in the form of a teenage mermaid named Aquamarine who’s stranded by the storm in a nearby swimming pool. The girls rescue the beautiful creature (who magically sprouts legs during the day) and discover that she’s facing a problem of her own.
