The Gothic Façade. The Cathedral’s main façade is the most impressive part of its exterior. It was designed during the fifteenth century but wasn’t built until the end of the nineteenth century. The focal point of the façade is the Cathedral’s main entrance, flanked by stone statues of the apostles and adorned with intricate carvings.
On the interior, not including the chapels on each side, the Cathedral is 79 meters long and 25 meters wide. Each chapel is 9 meters high, 5 meters wide and 6 meters deep. The central nave is 13 meters wide and 26 meters high.
