Steven Michael Burns (born October 9, 1973) [1] is an American actor, musician and television host. He is best known as a fictional version of himself as the host of the children's television series Blue's Clues from 1996 until 2002, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2001.
Steve is a main character in Blue's Clues. He was the host and main protagonist for the first four seasons along with his friend Blue, and is played by Steve Burns. He is the older brother of Joe and the older cousin of Josh.
