Feb 6, 2007 · I dont know of a common flash hider that you could permanently install and be legal. Your best option is to take the lumps... sell the barrel as is, or repaired, tell your gunsmith to eat it, and sell the barrel for what you can get for it, and start over.
Sep 4, 2006 · Sooooo, if FH is your main objective then go with either the vortex or phantom. If controllability and repeatability is your concern, izzy does the job but there are better options. (eg. MSTN brake) The main complaint about the izzy brake is the "loudness".
Aug 15, 2008 · You do not need to unscrew your flash hider, I did it only so you could see the shallow hole in the barrel. Now it's time to cut your pin to length. An easy way to mark it is to drop the pin in the hole and spin it while holding a razor blade against it to scribe a line.
