There is a lot to see and do during the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace, so please allow enough time to make the most of your visit. We suggest between 2 and 2½ hours. You are advised to wear comfortable shoes, as the visitor route in summer includes a fairly long walk through the garden to the exit, along a gravel path.
Unfortunately you will not be able to get inside Buckingham Palace in June. You ca however visit the Royal Mews just located around the corner. There you can see Royal coaches including the State Coronation Coach, the stables and some of the horses. It's well worth a visit.

Visitors have access to the Buckingham Palace State Rooms and the Palace Garden for several weeks throughout the year. But for obvious security reasons, these can only be palace guided tours.
