The German R2 MGM DVD (which has an English language track) is the full uncut version including the horsefalls cut by the BBFC for the UK release (there are 4 cuts, 3 when Chato ambushes the posse early on to scare them off and 1 later when he shoots Victor French's horse).
Dec 17, 2010 · Compared are the US DVD (PG) and the German Uncut DVD (FSK 16), both released by MGM. The US DVD contains alternate footage in the violent scenes. The raping scene and the burning scene have been shot in two versions by director Michael Winner.
The original UK cinema version was cut for violence and the later Warner video received 41 secs of cuts to horsefalls and the rape scene, though the print used was missing the shooting of the burning Indian and a shot of Jubal Hooker's face being hit with a rock.
