- Chesterfield Parish Church. The Church of St Mary and All Saints, also the Crooked Spire Church, is Chesterfield’s big landmark, famed for its twisting and leaning spire.
- Chesterfield Canal. When it was completed in 1777, this waterway connected Chesterfield with the River Trent at Stockwith, 46 miles away.
