    On 17 February 2024, Commissioner Rawalpindi, Liaquat Ali Chattha, in a press conference accused Isa to be involved in rigging of General Elections 2024. Later while talking to reporters, Isa denied these allegations. Following the presser, Chattha was arrested and shifted to an unknown location.On 22 February 2024, he apologized for his allegations while claiming that PTI exerted pressure on him to discredit Isa.
