Just announced (last week) that out comedian Dana Goldberg and Human Rights Campaign’s temporary president Joni Madison will be among the guests for the 21st annual Seattle Human Rights Campaign Dinner being held on Saturday, October 1st at the Sheraton Grand Seattle, 1400 6th Avenue.
I saw the same thing the next night in Salt Lake City for the Human Right Campaign Gala. This is Mormon country and our fight to protect our LGBTQ youth is being led by some of the most unexpected straight allies like Barbara and Steve Young.
Goldberg is a regular attendee at major Human Rights Campaign events, at which she has also served as emcee. She has also emceed Trevor Project and GLAAD events. [1] Through performing standup, she has helped raise money for HIV/AIDS causes, such as shows in benefit of the AIDS Foundation.
