Daphne Lee Ashbrook (born 30 January 1963; age 61) is the actor who played Melora Pazlar in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Melora". However, she is recognized as the Eighth Doctor's companion Dr. Grace Holloway in the 1996 television film Doctor Who.
Plot. Starfleet officer Melora Pazlar ( Daphne Ashbrook ), an Elaysian whose species' physiology is incompatible with the strength of artificial gravity used in most humanoid communities, including Deep Space Nine, arrives on the station. She must use external mechanical apparatus to exist comfortably on the station.
