David Campbell McFadzean (born April 9, 1947) is an American television producer, television writer, film producer and playwright. He is best known for co-creating the ABC sitcom Home Improvement with Carmen Finestra and Matt Williams.
David McFadzean was a professor & head of the theatre department at Judson College in Elgin, Illinois. He had a play produced off Broadway in the late 1980s, which brought him to the attention of Roseanne. He left Judson to become a staff writer on "Roseanne."
