DAVE SLACK is a bassist and composer who lives in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains outside of Knoxville, TN. He performs regularly with his jazz trio and enjoys playing many other genres including rock, bluegrass, and R&B.

He received a Bachelor of Music(B.M.) and Master of Music(M.M.) degrees from the University of Tennessee while studying jazz and classical music under the direction of Rusty Holloway and Donald Brown .
I've played upright bass and electric bass on a lot of gigs and recordings. I love playing jazz, R&B, rock, and Americana music. I have a bachelors and masters of music degrees in studio music and jazz and bass performance (classical).
