Dennis W. Day (July 12, 1942 – c. July 17, 2018) was an American actor, singer, dancer, and theater director, best known as one of the original cast members of The Mickey Mouse Club. After ending his career as a child actor, he went on to work as a theater director before relocating to Oregon in the 1980s.

Dennis Day born Dennis W. Day, was an American actor, singer, dancer, and theater director. He was best known as one of the original cast members of Walt Disney’s “The Mickey Mouse Club” from 1955-1957, when was 12 years old.
He was born on July 12, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. He died in July 2018 in Jackson County, Oregon aged 75–76.
Dennis was born to Fred A. Day and Verda L. Day. He had three sisters, Nelda Adkins, Kathy, and Shirley. After the family moved to California, Dennis’ father was a superintendent at a golf course and his mother was an office manager.
He came out as gay to his family and moved to San Francisco when he turned 18. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 1971, he said that he was bisexual and used drugs.
He was reported missing in July 2018 from his residence in Oregon. In June 2019, it was confirmed that remains discovered in his residence in Phoenix, Oregon in April 2019 were those of Day.
