Dominique Pinon (born March 4, 1955) is a French actor who played Vriess in the 1997 film Alien Resurrection. Most of his work has been in French-language films.
Pinon has been nominated for a César Award for Most Promising Actor (for Le Retour de Martin Guerre). He has notably appeared in every one of Alien Resurrection director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films.

Alien Resurrection is a 1997 science fiction action thriller film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Sigourney Weaver, Winona Ryder, Ron Perlman, Dominique Pinon, Dan Hedaya, J. E. Freeman, Brad Dourif, Raymond Cruz, Kim Flowers, Gary Dourdan, Leland Orser and Michael Wincott.
Winona Ryder as Annalee Call, the newest crew member of the Betty. She recognizes Ripley and has knowledge of the Aliens. Call is revealed during the course of the film to be a synthetic and helps the surviving crew interface with the Auriga. Dominique Pinon as Dom Vriess, the Betty ' s mechanic.
