Stefania Fogagnolo was Robert's beautiful and jilted Italian ex-girlfriend he met while vacationing with the Barone clan in Italy. He had a fling with her in Italy while he was still with Amy, which later causes breakups with both girlfriends.
She had a recurring role in the CBS comedy series, Everybody Loves Raymond as Robert Barone 's Italian girlfriend, Stefania. In 2015, Meneses was cast as aging telenovela star Isabela Santamaria in the NBC comedy series, Telenovela.

Alexandra Estella DeAnna Meneses (born February 12, 1965) who is also known professionally as Alex Meneses appears on Everybody Loves Raymond as Stefania Fogagnolo, Robert's jilted Italian ex-lover, in a two-part episode titled "Italy" at the beginning of the series's fifth season. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and in addition to being a talented actress, is also a former fashion model. Alex is of Mexican-American descent on her father's side and Ukrainian-American descent on her mother's. Meneses studied acting at Chicago's The Second City Improvisational Theater during her summer vacations. Immediately upon graduating from high school, she got a modeling contract in Milan, Italy. Originally she was to stay in Italy for only 3 months, but fell in love with Italy and stayed there for 2 years where she became a successful model. When Alex came back to the USA, she headed to Los Angeles, where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute.
Meneses portrayed Teresa Morales in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and has had significant recurring roles on including some in NBC's Friends (1997, Third season) as Cookie (Joey Tribiani's sister), and The Hughleys. She has also appeared in the CBS-TV legal/crime/drama series Martial Law as Alex Delgado in the episode "Lock Up", and the films Amanda and the Alien, Selena, Living in Peril, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Auto Focus, NCIS, and Funny Money. Lastly, Alex has also appeared in numerous L.A. stage productions.
