May 26, 2022 · Flipper Zero firmware can be updated through the Flipper Mobile App and qFlipper desktop app. You can select one of the three firmware update channels in the settings: Dev , RC (Release Candidate) and Release .
The official firmware comes with the Flipper Zero by default and does not need to be installed separately. You can always choose it when installing from the official mobile app or desktop qFlipper. Documentation. The documentation for the official firmware only describes the default functionality.
The stock firmware provided by Flipper Zero offers a comprehensive set of features out of the box. It includes functionalities such as RFID cloning, infrared (IR) transmission, universal remote control capabilities, and various hardware-based hacking tools.
