In June of 1924, the Ford Motor company drove the ten millionth Model T from New York to San Francisco via the Lincoln Highway. The Model T on display at the Museum of American Speed is on loan from the family of the late, Dr. Alan Hathaway.

Sep 23, 2018 · With some thoughtful modification, the Detroit (commonly known as GMC) superchargers could be adapted to a V8 engine. The aftermarket soon picked up on the trend, offering custom-made supercharger systems, such as the Italmeccanica S.Co.T. blower, which saw use on Ford Flathead V8 engines.

Apr 13, 2022 · The first speedster probably debuted shortly after the T began pouring off the assembly line in 1909. Edsel Ford’s speedster of 1911-12 had a pointed radiator grill, a hood over the engine, a pair of bucket seats, a cylindrical fuel tank over the rear axle, and, of course, a Model T underneath.
The seller tells us this early Ford muscle car has been sitting in a climate-controlled garage for twenty years, but it has had a recent maintenance check-up and it runs strong on all four cylinders of its 177 CI, in-line engine, good for about 22 HP.
