At night the fountain lights up in multiple colors and is a beautiful sight. There are a few benches to sit, MOSH is right next door, and you can walk over the bridge or take a river taxi to the Landing.

The park provides a wonderful view of downtown Jacksonville and access to the Southbank Riverwalk that opened in 1985. In addition, the Jacksonville Maritime Museum is located on the Riverwalk, adjacent to the northeast corner of the park. Showtimes are 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 pm nightly.
It is in St. Johns River Park (also known as Friendship Fountain Park) at the west end of Downtown Jacksonville's Southbank Riverwalk attraction. The world's largest and tallest fountain when it opened, it has been one of Jacksonville's most recognizable and popular attractions.
