White Night ( Korean : 백야행: 하얀 어둠 속을 걷다; RR : Baek-yahaeng: Ha-yan Eodum Sok-eul Geotda; lit. "White Night: Walking Through White Darkness") is a 2009 South Korean mystery thriller starring Han Suk-kyu, Son Ye-jin and Go Soo. It was based on the Japanese novel Journey Under the Midnight Sun by Keigo Higashino .

Detective Han Dong-Su ( Han Suk-Kyu) investigates the case, which leads him back to a homicide case that occurred 14 years ago. An unsolved case that eats the soul of Detective Han Dong-Su to this day. Meanwhile, Mi-Ho ( Son Ye-Jin) is set to marry the chief executive of a large corporation.

If it weren't for Han Suk-kyu stealing everybody else's show, two other characters would probably have been the ones the movie was supposed to focus on. Son Ye-jin ("A Moment to Remember", "Open City") very convincingly manages to play a materialistic young lady with the aura of a 'femme fatale'.
