Captain Spaulding (born Johnny Lee Johns and also known as "Cutter") is a fictional character created by Rob Zombie. The character first appeared in Zombie's 2003 horror film House of 1000 Corpses, portrayed by Sid Haig. Haig reprised his role as Spaulding in the sequels The Devil's Rejects (2005) and 3 from Hell (2019).

Captain Spaulding is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Otis B. Driftwood) of House of 1000 Corpses, the tritagonist of The Devil's Rejects, and a minor character in 3 From Hell. He is a member of the group of killers known as the Firefly family.

- The search for distribution. House of 1000 Corpses is graphic and disturbing — just look at the title. It's so dark, in fact, that it almost didn't see the light of day.
- The villains' names were inspired by Groucho Marx characters. Horror fans might be familiar with the fact that House of 1000 Corpses was inspired by 1970s horror films such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
- Firefly family history. House of 1000 Corpses introduced the Firefly family to the world. The roots of this makeshift clan are about as twisted as the brutality they get up to.
- The house is the same one used in a 1982 musical. The Firefly family's home is decked out with a collection of creepy pictures, animal carcasses, and other gruesome artifacts.
