Based on a true story, Linda Dupree is a young nurse who, while assisting well-to-do landowner Hank Cavanaugh and his daughters in caring for his terminally ill wife, begins seducing Hank. When their mother dies and Linda marries Hank, the daughters do what they can to accept their father's choice.
