Jun 14, 2022 · Maggie, a Chicago native, met blues legend John Mayall while on tour with guitarist Harvey Mandel in 1978 and joined his band as a featured vocalist, composer, and drummer. She formed Maggie Mayall & The Cadillacs, an ALL-WOMAN blues band with Debbie Davies on guitar, in 1986, and they were well-known on the west coast for several years.
