    After defeating Srivijaya in Sumatra in 1290, Singhasari became the most powerful kingdom in the area.     Hayam Wuruk, also known as Rajasanagara, ruled Majapahit from 1350–1389. During this period, Majapahit attained its peak with the support of his Prime Minister, Gajah Mada.
