In 2021, O’Keeffe earned second-team All-Pro honors with Rugby Atlanta, helping the “Rattlers” to an MLR Championship game appearance against the Los Angeles Giltinis. He appeared in 14 contests with 12 starts and scored seven tries and had 82 carries for 903 meters (11 meters per carry).

The Chicago Hounds have acquired center Mark O’Keeffe for the 2023 Major League Rugby season, the club announced Friday. The team drafted the Dublin-born back in the MLR expansion draft held earlier this year.

At a young age, Mark O’Keeffe (Hound #13) began playing Rugby with Landsdowne FC. He would attend St Michael’s College and help lead the school to a Leinster Senior Schools Cup victory in 2012.
