My Boy Jack is a Creative Cause colt who created buzz early on in the season after converting from turf to dirt. He ended his juvenile season with a 7th place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and trainer Keith Desormeaux made the decision to transition him to an alternate surface.

Mar 1, 2018 · My Boy Jack is out of the unraced Mineshaft mare Gold N Shaft. Her dam, Gold N Delicious, won the Fleur de Lis Handicap (G3) and finished second in the Coaching Club American Oaks (G1). In addition to Gold N Shaft she produced the stakes winner Precious Kiss and three other stakes-placed horses.
