My Name Is Loh Kiwan (Korean: 로기완) is a 2024 South Korean drama film written and directed by Kim Hee-jin and starring Song Joong-ki and Choi Sung-eun. It is based on the 2019 fictional novel I Met Loh Kiwan by author Cho Hae-jin.
Feb 7, 2023 · Loh Ki-Wan (Song Joong-Ki) is a North Korean defector. He has arrived in the unfamiliar country of Belgium from North Korea because of his mother Ok-Hee (Kim Sung-Ryoung). He wants to settle down in the country, but his only hope for him to stay is to receive refugee status from the Belgium government. He fights to get that.

6 days ago · Netflix has unveiled the poster and teaser trailer for Song Joong-ki’s upcoming Korean film, My Name is Loh Ki-wan. Cho Hae-jin’s short novel I Met Loh Ki-wan, which won the Shin Dong-yup Prize for Literature in 2013, inspired the film. Translators brought the novel to English audiences in 2019.
