Meanwhile, Master Chung falls deathly ill and tells his daughter that she must reunite with the other Ninja Turtles to save humankind.

- Venus De Milo, the fifth Turtle, arrives in New York and introduces herself to her fellow Turtles. Then she reveals that she too was dropped into the toxic sludge at birth, but fell through another grate and ended up in Shanghai. - Venus leads the Turtles in meditation to help Splinter escape from his dream state, after which they practice martial arts to enter the Dream Realm. Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is an American television series produced by Saban Entertainment. It is the first and only live-action television series in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. It ran on the Fox Kids network from 1997 to 1998.
Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation (abbreviated to NT:TNM) or Saban's Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation (also known as Hero Turtles: The Next Mutation) is a live-action television show that ran from 1997 to 1998 on Fox Kids. It was produced by Saban Entertainment.
Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation: With Jarred Blancard, Mitchell A. Lee Yuen, Dean Choe, Richard Yee. The "heroes in a half-shell" return to stop the evil Dragon Lord with help from their newest member, Venus De Milo.

This is a list of characters who appeared on the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation series. Many villains who appeared in prior TMNT works are omitted.
In 1997–1998, a live-action series, Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, aired on Fox. It introduced a female turtle, Venus de Milo, skilled in the mystical arts of the shinobi. The Next Mutation Turtles made a guest appearance on Power Rangers in Space. The Next Mutation was canceled after one season of 26 episodes.
The complete series has been released on DVD in the UK by Jetix Films. The series in divided between 2 Volumes, each containing 3 discs each. Volume 1 was released in July 2007 and Volume 2 was released in February 2008. At the moment there is still no plan for any US release.
