Patrick McCarthy is a Japan-accredited 9th Dan instructor of Ryukyu Karate and the founder of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society. He is also an author of several books and DVDs on Okinawan martial arts history and application.
He is the founding director of IRKRS- International Ryukyu Karate Research Society and creator of Koryu Uchinadi. Patrick McCarthy is a Canadian native who currently resides in Australia.
