Prince of Wales is named in honour of Edward, Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the Canadian throne. TREK is a district outdoor leadership program, based at Prince of Wales Secondary School, designed to offer integrated learning opportunities for Grade 10 Students. TREK focuses on place-based education, active citizenship and outdoor adventure and challenge.
Overview. Prince of Wales Mini School is a district enrichment program offered by the Vancouver School Board. The school was established in 1973 to meet the academic and social needs of highly motivated students. Prince of Wales Mini School consists of 140 students from Grade 8 to 12 (28 students in each grade).
