Abner Edwin Haley. Abner is the son of Queen Jackson Davy. She later married Alexander Alec Haley on Oct. 9, 1881. Alex Haley raised and nurtured Abner as his own. Abner is well documented in the book by Alex Haley's grandson (entitled Queen).
