In the theatrical cut, it is implied that Superman has killed the three Kryptonian villains (going against the strict code that Superman does not kill). In the extended ending, a U.S. "polar patrol" is shown picking up the three Kryptonians and Lex Luthor, after which Superman, with Lois standing beside him, destroys the Fortress of Solitude.
The "new" footage expanded on the film's many subplots, including a further explanation of the villains' task on Earth, Superman and Lois' romance, and an alternate ending involving Lex Luthor, the three Kryptonian villains, and the final fate of the Fortress of Solitude.
Non is a major antagonist in Superman II. He is a Kryptonian criminal, and a member of Zod 's gang. Out of the three, he is the biggest and also the least intelligent. He was portrayed by Jack O'Halloran.
Jun 19, 1981 · This is the best of the Superman movies because of the three villains, played by Terrence Stamp, Sarah Douglas and Jack O'Halloran. Those three are so good, particularly Stamp, that they make this easily the most memorable of the four films.

Character history. Non initially appeared in the first two Superman films, Superman: The Movie and Superman II. At the beginning of Superman, Non is one of the three Kryptonian criminals on trial, along with General Zod and Ursa, for their attempted coup against the Kryptonian government.
A trio of Krypton villains threaten havoc on Earth, while Superman and Lois Lane are just becoming involved in a long awaited love affair—an affair which may cost Superman his super powers.
