- Michael Scott (Steve Carell) Michael Scott (Steve Carell) appears in a scene from The Office, Season 9 Episode 24/25. Michael, the regional manager of Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch, was the central character on The Office, until Carell left the show at the end of Season 7 (though he made a surprise return in the series finale).
