The first season follows LAPD detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) as he investigates two cases: the murder of a 12-year-old boy whose bones were found in the Hollywood Hills. Bosch is also on trial for shooting a suspect in self-defense, and faces a civil lawsuit from the suspect's widow.
