Mar 10, 2016 · Thursday, March 10, 2016. Trace Elliot Velocette. Oh, modern, amps. Why so lazy? Had one of these on the ol' desk today, a Trace Elliott Velocette. I remember when these first hit the scene. The crazy 90's "there are no good cheap tubes except EL-84s being made so let's make little boutique sorta VOx sounding sorta Marshall sounding amps" era.
This is an light and super-portable, but very loud and gig-capable 15-watt, hand-wired 10" combo amp made in the late 90's in the UK, just before Gibson acquired Trace Elliot and rebranded this amp as the Gibson Goldtone GA15.
Dec 20, 2007 · I played the Velocette 1x10 that a friend let me borrow, and it sounded really nice! It breaks up really well! For 15 watts, it's a pretty loud amp!
Trace Elliot Velocette 12R amp in black tolex. I've owned this amp for about a decade and it has rarely been used during that time as I primarily play through Fender amps. I often see these for sale in a more beat up condition, but this one is in great shape and ready for a new home.
This Trace Elliot Velocette Class A tube amplifier with 10" speaker is in excellent condition and perfect working order. Single channel amp using a pair of EL84 power tubes, with two 12AX7s in the preamp. The Amp may be small in size and very portable, but don't mistake it for just a practice amp.
