Mar 10, 2021 · It’s a beautiful golden color that’s visible in both the glass and the bottle, a lighter and more appealing color than you’d usually see with an American bourbon or a well-aged scotch. This smells like a nice, mellow whiskey.
This Irish whiskey has a honey gold look in the glass. On the nose, Tullamore Dew has a sweet, citrus smell mixed with grainy notes. Underneath are some woody, vanilla notes, but you might need to play with the aroma for a while to catch them. The whiskey is sweet, smooth and light on the palate.
Mar 25, 2015 · Tullamore Dew 10 year is a nice whiskey. It won’t blow your socks off, but for a decently complex, aromatic and flavorful. The nose is soft, darkly sweet and fruity; the palate is a muddled and maltier, but lovely, mirror of the nose; the finish is just plain enjoyable.
