Winx Club 3D: Magical Adventure is the second animated film of the franchise. Takes place somehow after the restoration of magic on Earth in the episode The Wizards' Attack and before Nabu's death near the end of the fourth season.
With the conection between Earth and the Magical Dimension restored and the Wizards of the Black Circle out of the view by the moment, Aisha, Stella, Tecna, Musa, and Flora visit Magix to celebrate a party in Alfea with the other Fairies and the Witches from Cloud Tower, but the party is messed up thanks to the Witches who decided make a prank on the fairies by putting a spell on the snacks that makes them become in frogs. The Trix, despite not have anything to do with the other Witches, take advantage of the situation by trying to get inside Alfea but the Winx blocks them. Each group transform and fight but the battle ends when Darcy tell her sisters that she found what they needed and they disapear. Faragonda and the Winx helps the other fairies and the reporter.
Meanwhile, Bloom awakes in her room in the royal palace of Domino and she is having a good time with Kiko but the two are interrupted by three assistants. Bloom gets dressed and get the breakfast wich is a golden fish. Bloom run to return the fish to the water and is greeted by her sister Daphne. Bloom confessed to her sister that she feel a little out of place with some people bossing her around, Daphne understand Bloom and they talk about the positive things to do around. Later Bloom talk with her parents, Marion gave her an outfit and Oritel presents a new friend for Bloom, a horse named Peg. Bloom meets Sky in the green landscape and he helps Bloom to improve her skill raiding with Peg. After a walk through the courtyard of the castle, Sky ask Bloom if she wants to marry him, the redhead girl accepts and they go to talk with their respective parents. On Bloom's side, Marion and Oritel accepts but remind Bloom that she has to tell the news to her adoptive parents as well. Meanwhile, when Sky goes to Eraklyon to tell his father Erendor that he asked Bloom's hand, the older man gets angry and forbid the marriage due a mistake Erendor committed in the past. He gave Sky a letter with the truth of his part of responsibility in the fall of Domino years before.
Bloom was outside the castle with Peg and when she received the bad news from Sky, she gets sad. Marion tried to cheer Bloom but didn't work while Oritel decided to take the situation in his hands by engage Bloom with someone else. When the other Winx hears the news about Bloom's marriage, they felt briefly upset for not knowing anything about it from Bloom herself and not have received invitation, so the girls go to talk Bloom personally in Domino. After passing the guards thanks to Stella they meet Bloom and after sharing a hug, Bloom explains to the other girls that Sky ask her to marry him but cancelled all without clear answers at the same day and Bloom also clarifies that she doesn't have idea of what is happening outside. Oritel appears telling her that Sky is part of her past and she would be engaged to someone better choosed by him as the king. The Winx help Bloom by making her look like someone boring with the intention of discourage the potential candidates unfortunatetly the first guy is already a nerd but leaves, same with other guy who touched Bloom unproperly. When the guards announce there is another candidate, Sky appears disguised as a citizen from the realm of Acron, Bloom noticed is Sky and accepts him but Oritel found the truth quickly, refused to hear Sky's words and forced him to leave the castle, Bloom follow him and with the help of Peg he escapes but not without promise Bloom that he would fix things. Bloom tell her friends that she decided to return to Gardenia and they agree to go with her, using the Zoomix power they arrive to Gardenia.
In Magix, the Trix found the Three of Life and with the knowledge that Ancestral Witches gave to them the young trio of witches used their magic to erase the all the Positive Magic. Meanwhile, in Gardenia the Winx are greeted by Mike and Vanessa but suddenly all of the girls have visions of their Pixies being attacked by the Trix before fall unconcious, when they wake up they noticed that their magic isn't working. Faragonda call the six fairies and inform them that the Ancient Witches and the Trix attacked the Three of Life, but the Pixies are safe in Alfea, she also tell the Winx to remain in Gardenia.
While the Winx wait for instructions to fix the situation, they do normal things like help with the chores in the house and spend some time together. During a walk through the local park of Gardenia, Bloom receive a call from Sky who knows how to bring back the positive energy. Meanwhile, Oritel and Marion visit Mike and Vanessa, and helps them with their situation with Bloom showing them videos of Bloom since her childhood until her current teenage days. When Bloom sees Oritel, she tell him that she's going to be with Sky no matter what. Bloom apologized to Mike but he tell that he will deal with things there while she save the world.
The Winx reunite with the Specialists on Eraklyon and they go to the city of Avram. Sky tells Bloom, that his father Erendor and Oritel were friends in the past and they promise to help each other if one of them was in trouble, but the Ancient Witches aproched Erendor and destroyed Avram to intimidate him leaving Erendor with the only option of break his promise to protect his realm. The Ancient Witches gave him a hourglass that contains Positive Energy from the Three of Life to protect Eraklyon from the Negative Energy and that's how they carried their evil plans destroying Domino. Erendor was full of regret and he destroyed the hourglass in Avram, leaving a new plant growing in the center of the city. Sky concludes saying that Bloom doesn't deserves marrying with the son of a traitor but Bloom replies that the Ancient Witches are the only responsibles for the situation. Their moment is interrupted by Riven, who remind the couple that they are in the middle of a mission and since the Winx doesn't have their magical powers they should train their physical skills to face the threats that would be present in Avram. As they get close to the location a storm appears and they have to fight with evil clones of themselves. After the fight, the storm almost take their ship down but they managed to land safetly in Avram.
