Founder - Glen Wood. Glen Wood founded Wood Brothers Racing in 1950 under a beech tree on his family’s homeplace in Buffalo Ridge, Virginia. He held an astonishing record as a driver and team owner. In 2012, Glen was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame as a driver and team owner.
