He portrayed the title role in the Canadian television series Doctor Simon Locke (1971), later renamed Police Surgeon. Prior to that, he had played Doctor Russian Matthews in the daytime soap opera Another World (1966-1971).
Sam Groom Biography. BIOGRAPHY. First seen in Irwin Allen productions as Jerry in The Time Tunnel, Sam also starred in Allen's The Time Travellers and Hanging by a Thread. In the early 1970's, Sam became best known as Dr. Simon Locke in Police Surgeon.
