She was born April 14, 1936 in Cincinnati, the only child of the late Roy and Rose (Crump) Crouch. She married Ronald E. McCleery on September 6, 1958.
A TV and legit producer, McCleery had pioneered theatre-in-the-room in 1939 while he was teaching drama at Fordham University. At one time he headed the Pasadena Playhouse in California and during WWII served as a paratrooper lieutenant-colonel and also stated GI shows at Biarritz University Theatre in France.
Albert McCleery was born on 30 December 1911 in Kansas, USA. He was a producer and director, known for Matinee Theatre (1955), Cameo Theatre (1950) and Masterpiece Playhouse (1950). He died on 13 May 1972 in New York City, New York, USA.
